Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. was founded in 1989 by Mr. Vasilios Latouras and Ms. Vasna Ruongsentong. Ms. Vasna was born into a large Chinese family who owned a grocery store in Bangkok. Mr. Vasilios, a Greek businessman, came to Thailand to try his luck in Asia. While visiting the ancient city of Samut Prakan, he met a guide named Vasna, and the rest became history. A woman who worked hard and experienced hard times to this day to see the growth of her business and become one of the most famous brands in the world. Her name is Vasna Laturas. Forbes magazine has included Thailand Naraya in its membership for a billion-dollar business, growing from year to year.
